You can dislike it if you want but if you have never stood in Pamplona at 8:00 AM on July 7th and heard or seen the first two rockets go off then you have truly never witnessed a spectacle. I have never ran with the bulls and don't plan to but have been to the San Fermin Festival twice and it's breathtaking. Six bulls, two and half minutes of carnage through the entire Encierra . This goes on every morning for eight days. The food is EXCELLENT the wine is EXCELLENT and the entertainment is sheer terror.

Cadix, Spain J.J.V., 74yo, got trample by a 525kg bull. he got transported to the hospital but died there. this event started in 1976, and they release 2 bulls in the street. |
