A man was found dead on Wednesday morning (22nd) in Morro do Ary, a difficult-to-access area located in the Jacintinho neighborhood of Maceió.

The victim has not been identified, and information regarding the case is currently limited. According to Police Chief Daniel Scaramello, the victim was stabbed in the early hours of the morning. The body showed multiple stab wounds, and the weapon used in the crime was found next to the body.

A Civil Police team is at the scene to begin an initial investigation and speak with local residents in an attempt to identify the victim and clarify the circumstances and motives of the murder.
