This video has bothered me more than any other on here. Its horrible.

The way the two of them fight it, is so haunting. You feel so badly for them.

Why? why?

Such animals. why dont they just shoot people over there? How can they not feel for these peopel at all.

I watched this until the guy ran away, then took a nap. I had nightmares (the only thing I've ever seen to cause me nightmares) and woke up with an immense sadness. Goddamn those bastards!! Fuck, you just want to reach in and save them, you know?

I've watched this footage, I don't know how many times...one of the things that troubles me the most is why some of these guys didn't fight harder for their lives. It looks like only one had his hands tied. After the cutting started, why didn't they make a run for it like the one guy? They just seemed so resigned to dying in this manner.
I've thought deeply on it so I didn't come off like some armchair quarterback but I could come up with no reason for not running after seeing what their fate was to be.

Actually Fisherking, I agreed with your whole post until the last line, that was when the answer was revealed. These men had been in a firefight for hours, perhaps days. They had fought until they fired off their last round of ammo. They were tired and as you said, all they would have done was tried to run from their fate, and they just look too tired to fight anymore. They restrained the only man who still had any fight left in him, the others who tried anything, only made it worse. That poor red head who at least wrestled a little, the shots of him being stabbed in the side of the neck and head, well I think I'd rather just take the throat slitting after all.

Agreed. I suppose it's impossible to feel what those those guys were going through. Who knows how long they had gone without water?
Their youth and inexperience didn't help either...they were probably just waiting for it to be over...those scumbags most certainly knew it.
I could only hope that if I ever find myself in a similar situation, I could find the strength to clamber to my feet and just run and kick leaving the fucks no other choice than to shoot me.
One last thing...it looks like by the way the chechens positioned themselves that were actually afraid to get blood on them.

Here's an amusing little tale some of you may have already seen:

Once in U.S. history an episode of Islamic terrorism was very quickly stopped. It happened in the Philippines about 1911, when Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of the garrison. There had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks, so "Black Jack" told his boys to catch the perps and teach them a lesson.

Forced to dig their own graves, the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style. The U.S. soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat. Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs' blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.

All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years.

Pointing a gun into the face of Islamic terrorists won't make them flinch.

They welcome the chance to die for Allah. Like Gen. Pershing, we must show them that they won't get to Muslim heaven (which they believe has an endless supply of virgins) but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.

I have often advocated wrapping the bodies of dead jihadists in the corpse of a pig. This will ensure that at the very least they will be afraid of you, because either way they don't respect us and they don't care about us. So why should we be politically correct when dealing with them, when they do shit like this?
