Re: Brooklyn: Laundromat Owner Murdered For His Gold Chain
I reckon it could be solid gold, I know a few sootys and they're all into their bling, especially the ones from the Caribbean and South America. Half of them haven't got a pot to piss in, but still walk around with ten grands worth of jingle on them. It seems to be used in a lot of black and mixed (like Brazil) cultures as a necessary status symbol especially when they live in societies where they are a minority. White British people (and this is speaking very generally) tend to prefer more understated status symbols. Less Rolex and more Patek Philippe. Stuff that you have to get up close to before you see how expensive it is. And on the photo of the deceased, the way he is ridiculously wearing the chain, pulled out from underneath his sweatshirt kinda says to me he is super proud of it and probably spent half of his inheritance money on it. The same stupidity of flaunting it and wanting people to see it is no doubt what drew the attention that got him killed. Why the fuck you need to wear that while you're working in a laundromat I do not know. Like he's trying to impress some fat old granny washing the crusts out of her knickers. Fucking idiot. I have a few nice things also, but I wear them for me, nobody else has to see them. |

Re: Brooklyn: Laundromat Owner Murdered For His Gold Chain
That's a 15,000 dollar chain, I would have fought for it. The way it didn't snap when they pulled on it speaks to the quality of the clasp. 'Twas no cheapie, and I'm not just yanking your chain.

Re: Brooklyn: Laundromat Owner Murdered For His Gold Chain
The owner would have probably gave them the gold chain. I can't believe that he was fighting for his life to keep it. So fucking sad what is happening in this world. Also , who is raising these children to think it's OK to take what is not yours? Also, that YOU are GOD!!! YOU have the option to take a life!!! Also, if you repent in prison before you die, "YEAH, YOU GOOD ". SORRY FOR MY RANT. BUT FOR REAL "PEOPLE SUCK!!!" |
