A 27-year-old man, Lindemberg A.B., was killed by his own brother.

According to footage, Lindemberg and his brother can be seen fighting in a public street. One of them even throws a rock at the other before being caught up to and stabbed multiple times with a knife.

Lindemberg was rushed to a hospital in Caruaru but succumbed to his injuries and passed away. It was confirmed that Lindemberg and his brother had an argument, although the reasons for the argument have not been revealed. The brother fled the scene.

In case more people were wondering the same: In Brazil, it is very common for full biological siblings to have different skin tones, hair textures or facial features due to the country's extensive history of genetic mixing among European, African and Indigenous lineages.

Because skin color is determined by a complex combination of multiple genes, children born to the same mother and father can inherit different genetic combinations.

One sibling may inherit more genes expressing lighter skin while another may inherit genes expressing darker or brown skin.
