A man was shot dead inside a shopping centre in the West Zone of Rio, on Friday night (28). According to preliminary information, the victim was hit with at least five shots when he was on the escalator, towards the second floor of the mall.

Because of the shots, there was a lot of rush inside the establishment. Customers and employees took shelter inside the stores.

The man who was murdered inside Taquara Plaza Shopping on Friday night was named F.O.L, 29 years old. He owns clandestine laboratories and had already been arrested in 2021 for manufacturing and selling anabolic steroids. Just now, the Military Police also checked the mall's internal circuit, and it was found that at least three subjects approached the victim on the second floor of the mall, and that one of them even greeted him with a hug. As they descended the stairs to the first floor, one of the criminals fired several shots at the victim, who fell to the ground and died at the scene. Security cameras at the mall also revealed that the three elements escaped in a black vehicle, still unidentified, which was on the sidewalk, near the entrance to the mall.
