A man identified as Driel, known as "Ricovi," was dismembered after being captured by members of the Rio Grande do Norte Crime Syndicate (SDC-RN) on Sunday night (21).

In a statement posted on social media, the faction claimed responsibility for the crime and claimed that the young man had switching sides and allied himself with the Comando Vermelho (CV), a rival group.

The text also contained threats, stating: “For those who jump to that side, there’s only regret,” and promising to “wipe out this filthy breed from our state.”
