A security camera captured the moment when members of the Comando Vermelho (CV) faction paraded with heavy weapons in the Lagoa dos Patos area, in Lauro de Freitas. The recording was made on December 6, but was only released this week.

The region is the target of an intense dispute between CV and Bonde do Maluco (BDM). This Sunday (08), a man was executed with more than 50 shots in the same location where the video was recorded. So far there is no information as to whether he had any connection to crime.

Lagoa dos Patos has been experiencing a wave of violence since October 16, when six men were executed. They had allegedly tried to change factions to take over drug trafficking in the region, but were prevented from doing so and killed.

Three bodies were found on Via Parafuso, and the other three in the Aratu neighborhood, in Simões Filho.
