My oldest son's father did this, I found his body. Its the worst thing a person can do to those they leave behind. It destroys everyone in that path. I don't know what he was going through, but I guarantee, it more than likely wouldn't have mattered in a year, and with the right help.

it is possible that whether you suicided or not, all of existence is cyclical and you will eventually come back and do everything all over again. so yeah, maybe he will be reborn into the same life and kill himself again and again like this.
