In the early hours of 18th July 2021 in Coroatá (Brazil), a road accident claimed the lives of 3 people + 2 others injured.

21 year old Z.A. + a woman were travelling on a motorbike. On another motorbike, in the opposite direction, were G.F.d.S., L.V.V. + F.d.S.R. The 2 motorbikes collided, killing 'Z' + the woman. The 3 people on the other motorbike were all sent to the hospital with serious injuries. 'L' died later that morning.

Good find. The article I read said that the three survivors were in a car, not a motorcycle, which is likely why they lived and the other two died. But it may have been misreported. Hard to say.

Very peculiar video photography on the dying young woman. In most footage we get, the photographer tends to shoot the scene and only pass over the dead/dying a few times. This guy seemed almost to be shooting voyeuristically for a gore site.

First he zooms in on the blood bubbling out of her mouth, then a steady closeup of the deep laceration in her forehead and skull fracture, then a sweep down to the compound fracture with protruding bone in her leg, holding the phone/camera in place to study each grievous injury. Finally he moves around to shoot her lower half, once again almost voyeuristically focusing on the limp splay of her legs without even panning up to the rest of her. Once at that angle, he notices that she has lost control of her bladder while dying and actually zooms in to highlight the prominent urine stain in her shorts before moving on to another victim.

I mean, all in all, DR would be a better place if all rubberneckers shot accident footage this way, but it is pretty rare and a little odd. He shot the footage like a gorehound would.
