Brazil - Young Man Drowns Whilst Trying to Help People During Flooding
On the morning of 5th July 2022 in Jaqueira (Brazil), the body of 20 year old A.F.d.S. was found. It had been raining heavily, causing flooding in the area. 'A', a public servant, had been trying to help people, when he was electrocuted by an electricity pole. He fell into the water + drowned.

I was gonna say the LEAST they could do for him after his heroic efforts is try to pull him out of the water, but they ultimately did. Alls well that ends well |

Trying to do something good and then die. That shows life can be very unfair |

Maybe his head hit a rock when he fell? Sucks because the water wasn’t that deep, he could’ve just stood up |

I don't understand how a person can be walking around in running water like that then move a couple of feet and get shocked to death. How is it that the whole body of water isn't electrically charged? That baffles me.... Good Post~ |

Re: Brazil - Young Man Drowns Whilst Trying to Help People During Flooding
It is weird. But from all the flood videos I've seen where someone is electrocuted it's like only the immediate area around the hotwire is dangerous. Like within 2 - 3 feet of the wire. It does that in fountains and swiming pools too. Bathtubs not so much. |
