It may seem that way due to the immediate availability of such videos but homicides have decreased globally since the 1980s and that's including the modernization of warfare. Fewer people are dying from starvation and infant mortality is also on a downward trend. As much inherent bad as there is in us there's also good. Don't let slivers of minority events cloud the overall picture. Good news doesn't get as much engagement as the bad. I know this isn't a typical DR-type post but here we are. Chin up!  |

Not that I know of. At the time of updating the thread, she was in a serious condition in the hospital. I think it's safe to say that if she does pull through, she's going to be fucked for life; that beating was extreme.
