On the afternoon of 21st March 2022 in Terezópolis de Goiás (Brazil), 23 year old M.A.d.S. was murdered.

'M', a saleswoman, was at work when 37 year old F.I. entered the building holding 2 guns. He asked the young lady on a date + she refused. Enraged at the rejection, he shot her dead. He then shot himself in the head.

'F' had previously tried + failed to woo 'M', having brought her pizza + flowers. She had refused the gifts + the offer of a date.

Her mother stated:

My daughter was very sad the day she was killed, crying, saying she had a bad feeling. He got it into his head that he liked her and wanted to be with her. Mariana never had anything to do with him, nothing. Also, she never told me that she was being threatened or anything like that, if she was being threatened by him she didn't tell me. She would just say that she felt sorry for him, because he was a very good, quiet person,” she explained.

I never thought he had the courage to do that to her, we thought he was those people who focus on someone and try to please. Now my life is over, I lost my best friend, I don't know what I'm going to do with my life from now on. Just the thought that I'll never see her again, her joy. She liked loud music, dancing at home. 'M' would graduate in psychology next year.

“He confused things, my daughter was very polite and affectionate with everyone, including him. People have said that he gave her a motorcycle and car, but it's a lie. Her motorcycle was bought with consortium money and promissory notes. The car she was in was her stepmother's car. She was always very hardworking and conquered things on merit.

Murder-suicide this depraved sequence of events is apparently present in every continent of the world.

I wonder what the figures are for each of the areas compared. I would guess it’s something like

Brasil > Mexico > United States > Cental America > Southeast Asia > S. America > Canada > Australia >Africa > Russia > S. Africa > Europe > India > Middle East > Oceania > E. Asia

But that’s baseless speculation.

Going after a young woman who was born in 1998 *lame* I don’t feel sorry for him at all, but he probably had issues with the history of violence and whatnot.

Jeesh, give the guy a break. It was 10 days before his imminent suicide, is not like he had a lot of time to waste.

I somehow get the feeling this woman was doomed as soon as he set eyes on her. She rejected him BANG, dead.

If she'd gone along with him and then he later fell in love with someone else and wanted to leave her BANG, dead.

Why is it that it's always the loser men that react this way after rejection or a failed relationship??? Rarely if ever do women behave this way!
