Avenida F, reminded me of the "F" street in 1970s-80s San Diego CA. It was full of sex shops and peep shows, also a Pussy Cat theater (Along with its sticky carpet), many folks dropped their Coca Colas I guess, some better looking joints where on 5th avenue too, I still have some of those vintage magazines, that appear to have gone up in price quite a bit.  The Crypt, F Street I remember well, just across to what later became Horton Plaza in the early 80s. Ahhh the memories!  |
