Re: Brazil - Woman Dying After Showing Signs of COVID
Stupid people aren't supposed to feel good. Ask Yanni. That dude looks like and feels pieces of shit 90% of the time, and when he got COVID--actually just diarrhoea, it was awesome. |

Re: Brazil - Woman Dying After Showing Signs of COVID
Ved, you are one of the most prolific and interesting posters here, so I respect that and I am not going to go round and round the mulberry bush on this. I will say the following things: 1.) You are attacking a straw man, mischaracterizing my words. And using mockery and ad-hominem attacks. That's a fallacy. 2.) I didn't say to go Google this. I said to use primary sources. 3.) Moral panics are as old as the world. This Covid overreaction is a classic moral panic. 4.) When it comes to statistics, you start with a sample size you understand and extrapolate. Start with the following information:
You are awesome at digging out information about weird cases. Use those same crack investigative skills and examine the data from your local government. Every local, municipal, and state or national health agency posts the numbers on a rolling basis, usually once or twice per week. They come in handy Excel documents. Download those documents. Go back a few years and make a comparison. Use a calculator. You will start seeing anomalies right away. For instance, why did, let's say, 3500 people in your city die of heart attacks every year for the past 15 years, and suddenly now only 200 did? But 3300 people died of Covid? So the deaths are the same but we cured heart disease? You will see this pattern everywhere you look. Hospitalization rates are the lowest they have ever been, nurses and other staff are being let go, and yet the news tells you the hospitals are jam packed. Why would jam packed hospitals be letting nurses go and putting doctors on part-time? I urge you to use your own eyes and ears. Head over to your local hospital. Observe the empty waiting room. The numbers do not match up. Nobody is claiming that Covid is fake. What is fake is this extreme reaction to it. Five years ago, if someone died of Covid we listed their death as "acute respiratory failure secondary to pulmonary infection." No death certificate listed the specific pathogen. How many of those deaths were from some other strain of Covid? Their families were told they died of some kind of pneumonia and that was it. I am not some guy talking about grassy knolls and Building 7. If this is some kind of global conspiracy, it's being run by amateurs because they don't even bother hiding the facts. The facts are, there is no significant jump in death rates anywhere due to Covid. There is no evidence that lockdowns or anything else affect how quickly Covid moves through a population. Up to 80% of the global population is already immune to Covid-19 due to previous exposure to other corona-viruses. Since you seem to like appeals to authority, research how many well-respected scientists are blowing the whistle on this. It's a moral panic. People are sheep. They go crazy like as a herd and only come to their senses one at a time. That's not a conspiracy, it's human nature. |

Re: Brazil - Woman Dying After Showing Signs of COVID
You're obviously not a doctor, nor do you have any relevant experience in the medical field. The virus that the media refers to as "Coronavirus", itself is called SARS-CoV-2 and the disease it causes it called Covid-19. Coronavirus just refers to the shape of the virus, more particularly the crown shaped spike glycoprotein on the surface of the virus. There are other human coronaviruses with crown shaped glycoprotein on their surface that were discovered and emerged before SARS-CoV-2, for example MERS-CoV, which was discovered in the mid-1960s. That's why it's on your Lysol. Every virus is different in terms of rate of transition and severity of symptoms if infected, especially in the case of a novel, or new virus. I think everyone on this site would appreciate it if you stopped larping as a doctor. |

I have no idea what any of that has to do with what I am saying. And I'll quit "larping" as soon as they remove my medical license. Until then, if you ever visit Puerto Rico and get into a wreck or something, maybe I'll be your surgeon. |

Re: Brazil - Woman Dying After Showing Signs of COVID
I wouldn't. But I would appreciate you not larping anything, because you are clearly a handicap, and very little else. Just own that shit man. But don't pretend to to be smart by nitpicking, and hanging up on trivialities. The type of person who corrects spelling mistakes, or the more practical sets of terminology we may employ using our typing hands, while we masturbate into the sum of everything you you think you know's hair with the other. Your position on this is inexcusable and you sully an otherwise excellent session of smart people refuelling on the thoughts of of the stupid with your dreary side tracking interruption. Shame on you for forcing me to address your lack of worth in such a long winded way! APOLOGIZE TO ME AT ONCE OR PREPARE TO BE FOREVER CHAINED TO THE SET OF YOUR OWN TELETHON!!!! P.S. I have adjusted your font size to one more befitting your thinking ability, and your poor font style selection to one slightly more retarded than the one you chose. You are very bad at choosing things, and also everything else. Yours Truly, |
