Fascinating that this couple is just having a gay old time, while behind them a man has reached the lowest point of despair. I wonder if they spent the rest of their short lives blissfully unaware that a man killed himself just a few feet behind them |

That is some REALLY POORLY LAID TRACK!!! Look at the photos, and you can see they only have spikes on EVERY OTHER TIE. And they didn't even put the spike plate under the rails for those. Plus the ties are all rotted. Most modern rail systems use concrete ties now. I'm surprised that train doesn't just run off the track, and down the road, past some farms, and over to the next town, to pet the cows. Or down to the harbor to watch ships sail in and out, while smoking and drinking and blowing it's own horn on the beach! |
