Brazil - Man Shot Dead at His Workplace by Officers
On the afternoon of 1st April 2021 in the Campina neighbourhood (Brazil), 43 year old E.d.R.P. was murdered. 'E' had just arrived at his workplace when he was shot dead. 3 men were arrested within minutes of the crime; municipal guard A.C.d.C., civil police officer 41 year old A.C.F.P. + military police officer C.A.V. A 4th man, D.D.S., has not yet been caught.

The seller allegedly confronted the criminals and ended up being shot in the head. The criminals took his cell phone and a cell-phone from one of his employees. Then the quartet fled. Local residents said that the victim was known in the area and had several açaí outlets. They believe that the fact that the victim carried several gold accessories, which drew attention, may have attracted the interest of the assailants. Cops found the car carrying the four wanted. The PM escaped but inside the car were also found three firearms, dozens of ammunition, two porters, two ballistic vest covers, a handcuff, a flashlight, a ballistic protector and equipment. All the material was taken to the Seccional Urbana de Icoaraci, where the case was registered, and later forwarded to the Homicide Division of the Civil Police, which will continue the investigations. I always suspected cops and guards were involved in bribes, robberies and homicides and this is a nice example.   |
