Brazil - Man Pulls Knife on Ex-soldier + Gets Shot in Retaliation
On the night of 30th January 2021 in Uberlândia (Brazil), an argument lead to the death of a man. A 57 year old retired soldier was fed up with the noise coming from a bar across the street from his home. He went over to complain but a 56 year old man pulled a knife on him. In retaliation, the ex-soldier took out his gun + shot the man, hitting him in his neck. As the wounded man lay on the ground, another man took the knife from him. Then, the son of the ex-soldier kicked the man in the face. The wounded man was taken to the hospital but died during treatment. When the police arrived, they went to the ex-soldier's home, but his family stated that he had gone to the hospital as he had been stabbed in the hand.

I would assume if you live across the street from a bar, you gotta expect a bit of noise. A bit of good news, it should be quieter in prison.

The bad news is that prisons are loud all day 'round. At least in America they are, but Brazil's sure can be worse judging by the way they run things down there.  |

Looks like self-defence to me, if the gun is legal I doubt he will be charged with a crime, but then again it's Brazil...so.
