Goiânia*- A 27-year-old worker was crushed by a bus stop this Wednesday morning (8/3), in Aparecida de Goiânia, in the Metropolitan Region of the capital of Goiás. The concrete structure fell on top of the young man's body. According to witnesses, he was hit when he opened the door to get out of the car. The case happened in the Jardim das Cascatas sector. The victim worked at an engineering company and his name was not released. The death was confirmed at the scene by the Fire Department.By means of a note, the City Hall of Aparecida regretted the fatality and sympathized with the death of the worker. According to the municipal administration, “the collective transport system in the Metropolitan Region is the responsibility and operated by the Rede Mob Consortium under supervision of the CMTC. It also clarifies that this type of concrete shelter was not installed by the city hall”.
