Brazil: Man Beaten To Death With Iron Rod
A security camera captured the murder of a young man in the municipality of Coronel João Sá, on the afternoon of June 21st. The victim was at the entrance of a commercial establishment when the suspect got off a motorcycle with an iron bar. With no time to react, the young man takes the first blow. The victim's brother, who was nearby, tried to intervene in the situation, however, he was also hit and left unconscious. Then, the criminal again strikes the young man several times until he fatally hits him in the back of the head. Images show that the crime occurred at 15:10. Police officers from the 20th Battalion of the PM were called and recorded the occurrence. There is no information about the authorship and motivation of the crime. |

I'm just utterly amazed that someone in Brazil walks around without so much as a dagger for self-defense, ESPECIALLY if you already anticipate someone is going to come after you.

Well actually its because this was an iron rod which is heavy as fuck. Not just any metal. If you had a piece of light gauge aluminum for example, it would not have any weight to it and would not have this effect.

He got off that motorcycle with intent, seemed to have an issue with the man.
