Maffia rules are merciless. I'm friends with the niece of one of the Gambino family members who left the gang in the late 1920s as he didn't want to have anything to do with the criminal business of his brothers, he escaped from his own family to avoid being whacked according to my female friend, he lead a prosperous life and raised a family away from the dangers of criminal life. According to my friend, her other uncles were not in favor of him leaving, but he still did regardless of threats. I wonder why they kept the Gambino surname.  |
