Yeah, I felt bad for him because I can see damn near anyone that age getting caught up in such dumb shit not knowing it could escalate up to their murder. I'm almost 40 and try to think about how the hell I would navigate the digital world if I were half my age and had no idea of how life was before the likes of social media and what have you. This site has made me more hesitant to be judgemental of such things (not the murder, of course). As a kid I once got into a scrap with a neighborhood kid because he was picking on my little brother. We made up the same day and were all running around together afterwards. Hard to think of how that could've played out so much differently under slightly different circumstances.  |
