Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul state The victims have been identified as A.D.M., 63, and N.M.S.M., 28, a father and son who were gunned down in front of a convenience store. A pair of gunmen approached the victims and opened fire multiple times. The suspects managed to escape after the crime and are currently being sought. According to reports, A. had been arrested in 2013 for ordering a rival to be shot dead, for which he had been incarcerated for five years. He also had been convicted of drug trafficking and illegal possession of a firearm. As for N., his only criminal charge was for attempting to stop the police from entering his father's convenience shop during an official search. |

Damn. For the victims, at least it was so fast they couldn't much comprehend the situation. Dad shouldn't be mixing his family up with his criminal activity. Pretty shitty awareness levels too. Dad going first, and instantly, was his last blessing. I always wonder if the killing is related to the info, which implies a long lasting grudge and plot for vengeance. Or maybe he snitched in jail and got found out eventually? I'd always be armed if I had a history like that.
