~ She took her chances coming back when she should have stayed away. ~ Now they'll never find the killers of the artist Madson Felipe. ~ He most likely got involved with a loan shark &/or weapons vendor who had military connections, but got targeted when he failed to pay his debts in full. |

Not just that, but what makes it re-DICKulous is that local law enforcement cares so little about the ONLY witness to a murder that they were just like, "Yeah sure, you can go home. We're sure you'll be safe. This is Brazil, after all   "

Brazil has the same system in place: The police investigate themselves, we can expect the rogue cops will be cleared of any wrongdoing, in fact, they will say the shooting was justified (So the witness could not declare against them).  |
