Unlikely, motorcycle helmets are not meant for stopping bullets. I've heard an instructor in the past say that it may POSSIBLY stop a .380 from instantly killing you but that's it. I'm pretty sure there's also videos on here with robbers getting domed in the head with their helmets on as well.

Wait a minute Sol... Victim shot in the face. Not through the shield, not through the helmet. Maybe his shield closed when he hit the ground, maybe not. Nowhere did I say he was shot through the shield or the helmet. My assumptions were based on the video and the title of said video. Based on the evidence, that shield didn't have to stop nuthin'. What specialty of instructor was talking to you about bullet/helmet/shield impacts? If he/she was a firearms instructor, or a motorcycle training instructor? |

Oops, I forgot to read. Nah, you're right, my bad. He was a motorcycle training instructor but was an old ass army vet with quite a gun collection. Of course, this doesn't automatically make him right but I assumed he knew stuff 'bout guns as well.
