Brazil - Aftermath of 2 Suicide Jumpers at a Mall
At around 2pm on 4th March 2020 in Ribeirão Preto (Brazil), L.C. committed suicide inside the Santa Úrsula mall. This is the 2nd suicide at the mall in the last couple of days (see 2nd post in this thread). The mall has now put up safety nets to prevent any further suicides.

The previous day, L.V. also jumped to his death in the mall.

Funny you say that - I saw a documentary where people have survived the plunge off of the Golden Gate Bridge. They (Nearly) ALL said "as soon as I took the leap, I had instant regret" (or something to that effect).

WELL!..... BRAZIL IS FULL OF FUCKED UP PEOPLE. THERE ARE LOTS OF MURDERERS, RAPIST, PEDOPHILES, THIEFS AND DRUGS. BUT WHAT I DON'T GET IS... YOU NEED TO GO TO THE MALL TO KILL YOURSELF?. |

I saw that too during my training when I worked at a crisis intervention/suicide prevention hotline. Was a very powerful documentary and it is a very powerful thought to ponder, how clear and simple everything becomes if you can just survive this fall. And yeah like somebody else mentioned, those guys got that emergency tent set up game on point. |
