Re: Brazil - 6 Dead in Road Accident

It looks Xtatic like it might have been a larger 4WD type vehicle - maybe that larger cabin made it harder for the truck to engulf it - it kind of looks like the family wagon wrapped itself around the shape of the truck on impact?

Anyway, the person I feel sorry for the most is the family member who didn't get to go on that day trip ..... how are they possibly going to handle the status upgrade that will come from inheriting so many pairs of flip-flops all at once ?
You have a fucked up sense of humour dude.

As much as your response made me laugh. You are correct to an extent. I think I myself and quite a few others visit DR for educational purposes to find out what`s going on this crazy world and not make jokes about the dead. But hey, if that`s your style, have at it but KARMA can be a bitch you know. :))

WARNING - soppy deep thoughts are contained below. Please flame on at will when you're finished reading my Jack Daniels driven philosophy.

Yes Giovanni, DR really is a fantastic website - once you begin exploring beyond the 'video of the day' - be it another car accident, execution, or just an unsuspecting bystander trying to get a late entry into the 2019 Darwin Awards.

I take time to read a lot the comments that go with the streaming content, because they really do represent a fantastic cross section of "life" and you seem to have a few distinct groups here.

One of the more common is the foul mouthed antisocial "look how offensive I can be in one paragraph" asshole - who mostly post in a desperate attempt to show how tough and untouchable they are (but of course, grown folks don't for a minute assign any value to these juvenile ham-fisted coarsely manufactured attempts to come across as hard core). They are incapable of having an interesting thought and then framing that thought in either a witty or serious manner. Trolling them can be fun for a post or two, but other than they are the equivalent of the white frothy spittle which gathers in the corners of the mouth of an 80 year old Alzheimer's patient.

Then you've got another group - the group who have been "kicked around by Life" a fair bit, but who have emerged from the other side of their trials & tests as decent human beings who have cultivated and built up their emotional, personal, psychological, relationship and social skills - are able to take care of their family and friends, live with honor and integrity, and have the internal resilience required to roll with whatever punches are coming down the line on any given day. They are the kinds of guys who may have served in the military; they make their child support payments on time; they'll help you change a tire if you're stuck, and they have the courage to keep chest-bumping the challenges Life throws up, and to win at most of them.

Then there's another group here, who yes, whilst they enjoy visiting DR (and love joining in with some harmless gallows humor) - are also deceptively intelligent, and will often leave a sharp succinct insightful witty or pithy observation about an issue .... that can really make you think much deeper about the "human condition" and the havoc that it can wreak in any home, school, shop, workplace, street, town, city, or country - at any time, with little provocation, and with seemingly little rhyme or reason. I find this group to be the most interesting, as they are at least capable of having a bit of 'back & forth' about an issue raised by a post - and you can find yourself introduced serendipitously to many interesting subjects that challenge your biases, and make you expand your thinking and acceptance of things you once feared.

And to think, this may all have started off watching a video of somebody getting their head cut off with a chainsaw - but ends up with you drinking coffee and reading quotes from Nietzsche

Re: Brazil - 6 Dead in Road Accident

On the afternoon of 12th October 2019 in the Presidente Dutra motorway in Porto Real (Brazil), a road accident left 6 people dead.

A semi-trailer lorry went into the opposite lane + crashed into an oncoming car. All 5 occupants of the car, including a 29 day old baby girl, were killed. The driver of the lorry also died.
That's horrible...They both must've been going at a high rate of speed. REST IN PEACE

I enjoyed reading your philosophical interpretation of the three groups but you have to remember that people change over time and depending on the intellect, mood and kind of day they had, many cross over into another group ie. frustration, stress and other factors play a role in cross-grouping. I`m guessing you had extensive Philosophical studies in college as you seem to be quite the intellectual. Good for you and I must say I agree with you. As for me, I have gone for many months sometimes without commenting on DR videos, just not in the mood I guess.

Re: Brazil - 6 Dead in Road Accident

There's a recent crash on YNC where after the collusion, a car is engulfed in flames and you can hear the woman trapped in the car inferno screaming til she screams no more. CHILLING, to say the least, agonizing never ending nightmarishingly horror barlnone.
Ya, that was badl! I couldn't tell where she was stuck/pinned, could you? The caption had said both were
screaming but i didn't see the guy at all. That poor girl, so much pain and fear.
