Brazil - 3 People Found Dead on a Dirt Road After Ambush
On the morning of 3rd April 2022 in Roraima (Brazil), 3 people were found dead. The previous night, a group of 5 people were ambushed whilst driving home in a minivan. The driver spotted another vehicle stopping + asking for help, as they had broken down. The driver of the minivan obliged + went to fetch some tools. As he did so, he was shot at by the driver of the 'broken down' vehicle. Despite being injured, he tried to run, but was shot several more times. He managed to get to his wife + they ran into the bushes + hid in a lake. The gunmen shouted that if they did not return, they would kill the 3 other people inside the minivan. The couple were too scared to come back + so the gunmen fulfilled their threat. The couple stated that whilst they were hiding in the lake, they could see that the gunmen were driving around in their minivan as well as their own vehicle. They were using the headlights to try + search for them. The suspects soon gave up + drove away. The couple then fled to safety at a nearby house. The minivan was later found abandoned, with several bullet holes. The man had been shot a total of 6 times + was taken to the hospital. His wife was uninjured. The 3 deceased were the couple's daughter + 2 of their friends.

That story is pretty terrifying. Can you imagine being those parents, hiding out in the jungle while some psycho threatens to kill your daughter and your friends unless you come out.....and you know theyre just gonna kill all of you anyway, so you have to sit there and grit your teeth while they shoot them to pieces? And worst of all, it all happened because you took it upon yourself to help someone who was having car trouble  |

~ It's gotten to the point that good samaritans don't get a break from trying to rescue the seemingly helpless. And it's been going on for such a long time that unfortunate lessons still don't get learned. ~ If they would have stayed they would have gotten killed anyway. |
