I often wonder when a brain’s been ejected so perfectly like that, whether there’s any thinking happening, even if only just for a few seconds. Imagine what that would be like, your brain disconnected from every sense in an instant.

Doubt it. Think how easy it is for the brain to be “knocked out” and lose complete consciousness from a simple punch. There is a lot more trauma, energy and force involved in an injury like that. But who knows. Anything is possible I suppose. |
