This looks to be in the Man Shield of the West African Craton, which makes sense because that is a damn fine rock he has there. Damn fine. I imagine it to be from the bands of high-temperature sandstone that form between the vast fields of granilitic gneisses and greenstone belts in the geological shields. That's the highest-grade sandstone on Earth, and some of the oldest. Frost said "Something there is that doesn't love a wall", but he sure as shit wasn't talking about a beautiful retaining wall made out of some sandstone like this. That killer has class. He might be a murderous vigilante, but he is at least acknowledging that the victim deserves some level of human dignity by using such a specimen. |
