Re: Boom. Wall Explodes Killing 1 Injuring Multiple.
The roof of a three-storey building in the heart of the Medchal market area suddenly collapsed on Monday night and at least five people were trapped under the debris. The collapse triggered panic in the area, as police, fire services, and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams rushed to the scene for rescue operations. According to locals, the incident occurred around 9:35 PM while the market was bustling with routine activity. The building housed a grocery store on the ground floor and several residential flats above. What Witnesses Saw Witnesses reported hearing a loud noise moments before the structure came down, followed by clouds of dust and chaos. "We had no idea what had happened. One moment everything was normal, and the next the roof just gave in. People were screaming and running. It was terrifying," said a local resident, Ramesh. |

Re: Boom. Wall Explodes Killing 1 Injuring Multiple.
One person was killed and three others seriously injured after a cooking gas exploded in a house on Market Road in Medchal town on Monday night. The powerful explosion led to the collapse of an old building, destroying three shops and causing extensive damage to nearby structures. The incident occurred around 9.30 pm at a building owned by local resident Sriramulu Goud, situated along the National Highway near the Market Road intersection. The building housed two flower shops and a mobile shop at the front, with a residential portion at the rear occupied by Goud’s sister, Thirupathamma (55). According to police and local witnesses, a LP gas inside the residence exploded with a loud bang, bringing down the structure. The blast sent debris flying across the area, fatally injuring a pedestrian, an unidentified man aged around 40, who was walking past the building at the time. He died while being taken to a hospital. Three others were injured in the incident. Thirupathamma, who was trapped under the rubble, sustained serious burns. Rafiq (23), a stationery shop worker nearby, suffered a fractured arm from falling debris. Dinesh (25), a mobile shop employee, was also injured in the explosion. The explosion also completely destroyed the two flower shops and the mobile shop housed in the building. |

Adding a bad smell as a warning sign in a place like that would be like using the smell of shit to warn people that something smells like shit.
