It's interesting how much they're copping the production of the ISIS videos. I'd love to know how much is them just attempting to copy and how much is them getting direct or indirect help on that from other islamist groups.

This production shares many common features with the recent wave of Islamic State propaganda videos . Most notably for me is the appearance of scrolling chunks of zeros and ones, to give the viewer the impression that this is binary code, further inferring that some sort of signal-intercept or data-analysis is taking place. However, this is not data as such, it is not real, as most people will realize when they lend some thought to the issue. It is a meaningless cut-and-paste graphics application that has featured heavily in Tom Clancy films and the like, and is designed for cinema. When I see it in documentary films, then I have to seriously question the intelligence of the producer. Is he trying to fool me, or is he fooling only himself and the idiotic mob of barbarians that these videos impress? I suspect the latter to be the case. |

What's with all their theatrics, just get on with it I don't watch to listen to dumb their dumb wafflings and attempted stylisation of a beheading. It now seems the norm to cut out the money shot and go for slow-mo shots John Woo style. |

tecumseh, I know you're the clown on DR and so your comments shouldn't be taken at face value. Yet, you spread a message of hate and good human beings shouldn't do that. I consider Islam to be a combinate of nazism and ebola, a perverting religion intent on driving civilization's modern progress back 200 years. But it doesn't mean that I'm going to call for Muslims to be exterminated. They're humans, like you and I. They just made a poor choice of a religion. But as a semi-human person I have to help ensure they are free to worship, and that's that. Once anyone tacks political ambitions on the back of their religion, they should probably be stopped by any legal means possible. Muslims, Hindus, rastafarians, George W. Bush, ya name it.
