I feel bad for the cop. You can tell he never had any intention of killing that kid, and felt bad about it. It's survival at that point. Why you'd think you can shoot a cop in a ready position, I'll never understand. People think it's the wild west, and if that gun is on you, he's scared but ready, and you're going to lose. Too bad. Well it's unfortunate but you're wrong about the misuse of power. The % is very large. It's the nature of the system put in place. There is only a very small % of police officers that would file complaints against their fellow officer for brutality against a perp. It's happened a few times, but when it does, the result is always the same. The cop that did that complaint is ruining his chances of promotion in the PD and usually ends up quitting after directing traffic for years.
