Re: Body of Robber in a Pool of His Own Blood

That's a tight shot group, looks like 4 separate hits at the left eye area. Small caliber hand gun or Birdshot?

A robber swimming in his own gene pool. Nothing wrong with that.

I counted the same amount of entrance holes and one hell of a headache.

Birdshot is not plausible here, A .38 spl / 9 mm or 12 gauge 00 buckshot
(5-6 .36 cal sized balls)
could have done the trick, although that would have to been have fired from 3-4 meters to induce the effective spread seen. But now thinking about it I would think it would have been absolutely devastating even more than what’s here.

Re: Body of Robber in a Pool of His Own Blood

Looks like close-up buckshot with that pattern but there’s not enough damage for a shotgun and no powder burns.

Re: Body of Robber in a Pool of His Own Blood

My guess is buckshot, not point blank but close quarters.

Re: Body of Robber in a Pool of His Own Blood

My guess is that he was shot at some distance with The Judge revolver using Federal personal defense .410 Ga. shells with 4 triple ought Buckshot Pellets
