What strikes me about Brazilian police is how obviously well-trained they are. Well, not with handling corpses, maybe. But while they're all twisting and shifting and struggling with that awkward dead weight, they are all constantly mindful of where their guns are pointed. Like the guy who's walking around and brandishing his sidearm for whatever reason; he runs over to help by taking hold of a foot or something with his free hand, but his gun stays pointed firmly toward the ground and his trigger finger stays firmly on the frame just below the slide.

I know that seems like common sense but it's so easy to get distracted. When I was in the Army, some of the things I saw professional soldiers do with guns was so recklessly dangerous. I remember there was a Polish soldier on my base it Afghanistan who somehow managed to shoot himself and two other other guys, all in their left feet. He blew off two of his company commander's toes! I have a feeling that dude is probably buried somewhere in the Spin Ghar, heh.

But the point is, he was well-trained, Poland has high-quality infantry.
