A woman is now at a Fresno-area hospital after she was pulled from a Central Fresno canal Tuesday morning.

Police received reports around 9 a.m. of a woman, floating face-down in the water near Blackstone and Shields.

Firefighters and EMT’s arrived, and pulled her out of the canal in the area of Maroa and Dayton.

Immediately, they began to administer CPR and were able to revive the woman.

She is described as 30 years old.
