That`s a grave in another country. Modern embalming and the sealed caskets of today can preserve a body well for many decades.It also depends on if the casket is placed in a vault in the ground as well. Some state laws require a vault be used and others don`t. Also, it does depend on the soil and climate. A casketed body placed in an above ground mausoleum decays 10 times faster than one in the ground.
