Body of Elderly Man Found Floating in Rice Field
Residents of Meritai Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, were shocked by the discovery of a male body in a rice field on Saturday morning, February 28, at around 6:45 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. The discovery immediately attracted the attention of residents, with several women, believed to be the victim's family, crying hysterically at the scene. The body was identified as Saripto (68), a local resident who had been reported missing for the past few days.
