The body of Mr. N. V. T, the truck driver who was swept away by floodwaters on Highway 15D six days ago, was found on the afternoon of November 22 on the Dakrong 3 hydroelectric reservoir.

At around 5pm, a canoe team discovered his body floating on the lake, about 30km from the accident site. The team brought the body to the sandbank and handed it over to the authorities.

The victim's family identified him through the ring and shirt he was wearing.

On the afternoon of November 17, he drove a tractor trailer carrying coal on Highway 15D, trying to cross the A Rong spillway despite high floodwaters and barriers.

When he reached the middle of the bridge, the vehicle was swept away by the floodwaters. He managed to climb onto the truck bed, but about 15 minutes later the vehicle flipped over and drifted away, sweeping him away with the floodwaters.

Over the past few days, nearly 100 members of the Border Guard, Provincial Police, local forces, local residents and volunteer teams have been searching along the river in groups.

On the afternoon of November 18, authorities discovered his pants and car keys, 4 km downstream from the accident site.

On the afternoon of November 19, the tractor trailer that was swept away by floodwaters for more than 100 m was also recovered.
