The decapitated body of a 21-year-old woman, Kyara C.H.C., was found after residents reported cries for help, followed by the sound of motorcycles speeding away.

Kyara lived in a rented room, which she shared with Ecuadorian and Venezuelan citizens. When police searched the room, they found several bags of controlled substances. Based on this finding, the motive is believed to be a dispute over territorial control for drug trafficking.

A man, identified as "Gordo", has been arrested. Gordo had a criminal record for robbery, weapons possession, and illegal arms trafficking.
