~ The U.S. military is always expected to play the part of the global rescuer since a long time now. ~ They go in & soon are taken for granted that they will be there forever by the country being rescued. ~ Civilians as well as the domestic military soon slack off thinking they don't have to do much else, since it is no longer primarily their responsibilty. Therefore having their Visa/passport papers is not a priority, not even in case of an emergency, since they are in such good helping hands, indefinitely. ~ Having the Taliban taking over all of the country of Afghanistan in such a shocking short time period is just another testament to that ~ U.S. Foreign military policy needs to be revised & amended because of these consistent facts. ~ I expect Russian impetus to actually go in & do the final cleanup quite nicely. |

At least they died doing what they love: holding on to a massive hunk of metal hurdling upwards into the sky before inevitably losing their grip and plunging hundreds of feet to their death. Sweet.
