Bodega Owner Stabs Man Attacking Him - Gets Charged with Murder
A New York City bodega worker is faces a second-degree murder charge after allegedly stabbing a man who shoved him during a dispute. JA, 51, is being held at Rikers Island and is reportedly unable to post $250,000 bail stemming from the July 1 incident. The Post says AS, 34 went into the store to confront JA after his girlfriend was denied a bag of chips for her daughter after her credit card was delined. JA allegedly had snatched the chips back from the girl. The woman told AS, who then went to the store, walked behind the counter, and pushed Alba. A criminal complaint obtained by Fox News Digital stated that when Simon attempted to "steer" JA out from behind the counter area, the worker "picked up a kitchen knife that was stashed behind the counter and stabbed AS in the neck and chest at least five times." AS's girlfriend then allegedly pulled a knife from her purse and stabbed Alba in the arm. AS died at a nearby hospital a short time later. The Mayor of New York said, "My heart goes out for that hard-working honest New Yorker that was doing his job in his place of business, where a person came in and went behind a counter and attacked him. My heart goes out to that employee who was in the store, doing his job. And so I am hoping that we take all of that into consideration, as this hard-working New Yorker was doing his job and someone aggressively went behind the counter to attack him." The Manhattan District Attorney had asked for $500,000 bail in the case. "So, the DA has his job. I have my job as the mayor of the City of New York. And as the mayor of the City of New York, I support hard-working innocent people that are doing their job," Mayor Adams said. "And I saw him as a hard-working, innocent New Yorker that a person went behind the counter and attacked him." JA could face to up to 25 years in prison if convicted on the murder charge. |

the United States is always represented as a state, the country where you have the right to defend yourself and to kill for almost nothing and there this attacked man did not have the right to defend himself?

In any American metropolitan area, you do not dare to defend yourself because you will be charged as the aggressor. But the laws will protect me! If you want to have anything and build your own business up to help not only those you're providing a service to or the purchase of goods not locally available, then you need to not only be armed, but admit operating in a jurisdiction which criminalizes victims and rewards the violent perpetrators is completely futile. Unless you are ready to use force against the state and most likely be executed, there is nothing left for you but to bend over and take it gladly when the thieves come knocking.

That guy ruined everything. He ruined the guy's day, he ruined his peace, and he potentially ruined his future. Such bullshit they want to slap him with any crimes at all.

BLM has absolutely NOTHING to do with this case because it doesnt involve police officers shooting unarmed black men for no reason. Even the fucking major agrees with you that the aggressor was to blame for his own demise  |

Yeah, dude was running on testosterone; happens a lot with young dudes. I can already imagine it, girlfriend comes back to the car and says something like "can you believe this guy just snatched these chips out of my hand" without even giving the details of what really happened, and it set the dude off like that. There are lots of dudes like that who go by their emotions, rather than thinking things through. |
