that sorta injury..applying pressure wouldnt have helped.. either end up bleeding internally, or cutting off blood supply to brain...

First of all... He shouldn't be laying down if possible. Sitting would be better. Pack the wound with Tee shirts or anything you can get. Hold tightly and keep the casualty awake. Not let him bleed openly, film it and argue among yourselves  |
