I wonder if a helmet might have helped him survive. Sad that the child apparently witnessed the hit and run. Someday, technology will not allow such tragedies to occur with the possibility of the perpetrators fleeing justice - sensors will alert authorities immediately and the drivers will be tracked...but we are a long way from that, especially in poverty-stricken countries.
