A motorcyclist, 56, collided with a car at an intersection in russia. The motorcyclist died at the scene from his injuries.

The fatal accident occurred early in the morning of May 22 at 6:50 AM at the intersection of Gorky and Mekhanicheskaya Streets. The 56-year-old driver of a Honda motorcycle, traveling along Mekhanicheskaya Street toward Geroev Tankograd, veered into the intersection on a red light. At the same time, a VAZ-2115, driven by a 60 year old man emerged from Gorky Street having the green light.

According to video, the motorcyclist crashed into the driver's side, mangling the bodywork. The motorist sustained injuries.

Traffic police and a police investigative team are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
