Re: Biker Surrounded with Relatives Dying in the Street
yup. and adding someone with an attitude like yours here in our country would make it worse than shit as you put it. keep your comments in isolated terms. we have all nationalities in DR and its not good to hear yourself being called names along with the rest of the scum in your country. Every country have their own shit as you called them. You are just fortunate to live in a better governed country but it does not make you above the others. Maybe i was the one driving that trike that almost killed you because you were strutting like a moron in the middle of the street feeling so self important. Sorry kel. just cant help blurting this out. You will be surprised at how majority of foreigners who comes visiting here walks like kings in the road meant for vehicles and expects everybody to step aside and all vehicles to swerve away to let them through |

Re: Biker Surrounded with Relatives Dying in the Street
It was actually a good stress relief for me to see some pedestrians acting stupid on the streets and walks on the vehicle passage rather than the sidewalks. I like to creep up almost behind them as near as possible then lean on the horn before driving past them. the reactions you get is always golden im telling you. I do not do it on motorists though. Their reaction might pull the throttle and cause accidents. my fun is limited to pedestrians. |

Re: Biker Surrounded with Relatives Dying in the Street
It's tonal. I'm from the U.S. but have lived in Thailand for the last 13 years. It's quite difficult to learn the different sounds. For example, in Thai 'ma' can mean mother, dog, or horse. There are high, medium, and low tones. The high and low tones are easy to distinguish, but the middle tone is what I have problems with as it's very close to the two others. My wife and daughter are forever correcting me lol. |
