Almost like they realized they wouldn't make the turn and decided to ride it off the road. Too bad they were on a mountain. Engine noise sounds almost like they never let up on the throttle. Maybe suicide or black out? Evil Knievel opened up the throttle while airborne, he explained that the spinning tire acted like a gyroscope and stabilized his bike in flight for his big jumps.
