A motorcyclist died as a result of being hit by a vehicle that ran a red light in Malaysia last Friday.

Around 7.40 in the morning, the 53-year-old victim was seriously injured in the head before being pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

He was riding Honda Vario motorcycle and a Perodua Aruz was driven by a 39-year-old woman who ran a red light. She suffered minor injuries to her hand.

True. Drunk driver hit my mom while she was driving home from her vacation - him and his friends are fine, my mom died with brutally painful injuries at the hospital. Hospital staff told us it's disgustingly common that only the reckless drivers survive. It was nothing new to them. In my mother's case it was probably because her car was just a smidge smaller than theirs. That's all it took for her car to collapse in on her, crush her, tear up her intestines and lungs, breaking almost every bone in her lower body. According to police report she was awake and suffering the entire time. All she wanted was to go home.

So yes. The woman in this video deserves the worst torture in hell for taking a precious life from someone's family. May she never know peace for the rest of her disgusting existence. This pisses me off so much I'm about to cry. I miss my mom so much

I wish there were far stronger penalties for drunk drivers. As far as I can see, it’s attempted murder, and it should be charged as murder with very stiff penalties for knowingly operating, or attempting to operate, a 3000 pound deadly weapon on a public roadway.
The only way to really stop people is to make stronger penalties.

It is fairly common for inebriated people to have no injuries from an accident.
Use of an intoxicant will cause people to react more slowly than normal, so they never tense up in anticipation of the accident, like a sober person does. This is why they don’t really get hurt, they remain flexible and just flop around the vehicle, rather than if they had tensed up in reaction to the accident, they would be much more likely to become injured.

Its exasperated to think of innocent people who have lost their lives due to drunk driving, while the drivers responsible often survive and continue living (either in prison most likely or emancipated), it’s basically stark injustice for the victims families no matter the consequence.
