All life is an emergency to some extent. We all die eventually...or have to suffer the burden of watching the ones we love die. Sucks. I find solace in the fact that most of us live much easier lives than our ancestors, and on the whole much much longer. For the 100 billion or so modern human beings born into existence approx. half of them died before the age of 5. You live longer than 5 and you're doing well. Still sucks though. Maybe aliens will come save us or some amazing AI invention. |
