Re: Biker, Cut in Half, but Still Alive Asks for His Organs to Be Donated
This just breaks my heart. The poor guy was in shock, knew that he was injured, then tries to see why he can't feel anything below his waist and sees that he's fatally injured with only minutes left to live. He must have been terrified, yet not a single soul goes to his aid while standing around gawking at him like he's a freak and taking videos. How about holding his hand? How about giving him some peace and comfort in his final minutes? How about trying to encourage him (even with false hope) that "you'll make it" so that he had something to hope for? Damn, some humans make me sick.

Re: Biker, Cut in Half, but Still Alive Asks for His Organs to Be Donated
Full or partial restoration of vision to any person that was blind would be ideal. I'm not doubting that at all. I was merely stating that he's a young adult male with a high probability of having a healthy heart. Number one killer in the in my country is HEART DISEASE.. His heart could prolong the life of another person here in the states. Just sayin' |

Re: Biker, Cut in Half, but Still Alive Asks for His Organs to Be Donated
Oh man.. I feel like ice been too desensitized lately, but this one hurt me to my core. I feel so bad for the man, realizing he's dying, and still thinks of other people. I just wish someone would have comforted him or stayed with him in the end. No one should die alone.
